Hi, I’m Katherine North. I made this book for my kids, to help them understand that while “Santa Claus” might not be real in the way they had once thought, there is still real magic in the world… and we can help MAKE that magic. I share it with you in hopes that it helps you reframe that tricky conversation with your own little loves.
This is an important moment in a kid's life: a rite of passage that can leave some people with a sense of betrayal or bitterness. This book helps turn it into a loving initiation instead.
I believe that we don’t ever have to give up on magic; our understanding of it just gets deeper and bigger. Never give up on your magic.
